Warehouse Associates are part of the Warehouse team, therefore, are responsible for successfully managing a warehouse and its various functions including ordering parts, inventory, running parts to plumbers on-site, supporting plumbers on job sites as needed, maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. You should also have the time-management skills necessary to effectively manage multiple expectations in a fast-paced environment. You must display exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to prioritize issues and respond accordingly.

This position has a unique opportunity for advancement into our plumbing trainee class after 6 months!

Job Requirements:

  • Must obtain a plumber trainee card and keep card current and active
  • Manage a clean and efficient warehouse
  • Inventory and order parts for Plumbing/HVAC Jobs
  • Ability to drive to job sites- must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Communicate issues, updates, revisions, etc. to shop crew, technicians, customers, and administration team.
  • Manage inventory software
  • Ability to load and unload parts to techs on a job- must be able to lift up to 75 pounds

Specific qualifications for this full-time Warehouse Associate & Plumbing Assistant role include:

Work Environment:

This position works in a warehouse/office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform quality repairs & installations on all types of plumbing
  • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
  • Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatcher to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
  • Obtain customer authorization/signature for payment (or financing) at the completion of the job
  • Generate and schedule replacement consultations as needed
  • Meet or exceed performance minimum standards

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years in Service Plumbing
  • Must be willing to pursue, develop and participate in continuing education
  • Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers, and other team members
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Well service, water treatment systems, tankless water heaters knowledge a plus but not required

This position will typically train for 6-12 months as a paid apprentice, then become a service technician running your own truck, controlling your own pay, and operating in your new career.
