Eligibility: CPI (the “Company”) giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is open only to legal residents of, and physically located within, the geographic area serviced by a local branch of CPI; aged eighteen (18) years or older at time of nomination; and be the full time resident of the house to which the awarded AC unit will be furnished. Additionally, the selected home must have the infrastructure to install an AC unit, including complete and intact infrastructure to support the installation of the awarded AC unit. The Giveaway is void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Employees and representatives of the Company (the “Sponsor”), and any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees or designees, as well as their immediate family members (herein, defined as spouses, parents/stepparents, siblings, children/stepchildren and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of their household (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway and shall not be subject to appeal.
How to be Entered and Selection Process: Individuals may be nominated by submission to the Company’s social media platforms. Specifically, the link will be located on the Company’s Instagram and Facebook profile and on the captions of the Company’s social media post. General Managers of the Company’s branches will review the nominations and select five candidates. CPI technicians will have a team vote at each branch to select who will be awarded the AC unit.
Prizes; Approximate Retail Values: One (1) selected person will receive one (1) brand-new, AC unit. Estimated value of $3,500 to $4,999. Prizes pictured in advertising, marketing or promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only. If the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between statements contained in any such materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control. Any applicable taxes and all other costs/expenses not specifically identified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes are nontransferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made, other than as provided herein. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute an alternative prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater value, if a prize cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. Limit one (1) prize per household. See below section titled “General” for additional rules regarding acceptance of prizes
General: By entering this Giveaway, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor on all matters relating to the Giveaway, which are final and binding. Participants are solely responsible for internet connectivity, software and/or hardware and data charges that may be required in order to submit an entry. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to, where legal, the Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries or designees’ use of his or her name, city, and state of residence, and likeness (including photos and/or videos) for advertising and publicity purposes for the Sponsor in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without further compensation, permission, or notification and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing. The winner is solely responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes on the prize, including sales or use taxes, as well as any expenses related to participation in the Giveaway or acceptance of a prize. By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its respective divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any injury, loss, or damage to person, including death, personal injury, or loss or damage to property due in-whole or in-part, directly or indirectly, to the acceptance or use/misuse of a prize, participation in any promotion-related activity, or participation in the Giveaway.
The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, rules, administration of this Giveaway or in the announcement of the winner and prize. In the event the Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Giveaway, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Giveaway as planned is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment/internet/connectivity failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, the Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Giveaway and award the prize from among all eligible entries received up to that date.
The Sponsor is not responsible for and may disqualify entries that are misdirected, undelivered, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, damaged, stolen, late or lost; or for interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider, website, or other connections; or for computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties. No automatic, robotic, mechanical entries or reproductions will be accepted. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The Sponsor reserves the right to void all entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry-duplication method, and to disqualify any individual using such an entry method. Proof of submission of an entry does not constitute proof of receipt of entry by the Sponsor. If there is a dispute as to the identity of entrant or a dispute, or potential dispute, regarding the entry or any third-party rights, or if the Sponsor has reasonable grounds for suspecting any breach or abuse of these Official Rules by any person involved in an entry, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible in the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Governing Law: All disputes concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants or the Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of state and federal courts.
