Spring: The Rebirth Of Nature After Winter

Spring: The Rebirth Of Nature After Winter

A fresh start for nature and you as well! Here are some Spring activity ideas...

Spring Cleaning: Try to enjoy this instead of looking at it as a chore. Open the win-dows and let the sun in, play some music and have the whole family participate. Hav-ing a clean, fresh house will feel amazing and the calories you burn from cleaning will surely be great for mind and body alike. Just remember to take it room by room so you don't get over whelmed.

Spring Break: it doesn't mean you have to party in Cancun. Find inexpensive local ways to do your Spring Breaking: go camp-ing, visit the San Juans, find some friends to host a progressive dinner (each course served at a different house), or go garage sale-ing. Be sure to seek out local publica-tions to find activities happening in Skagit Valley.

Special Months: Did you know most months are dedicated to special aware-ness's or causes? Pick a few you can relate to and do something special to celebrate.

April: National Poetry Month, Jazz Appreciation Month, Earth Day (4/22), National Humor Month, Stress Awareness Month.

May: National Photo Month, Date Your Mate Month, National BBQ Month, National Bike Month, Na-tional Police Week (3rd Week).

June: National Fresh Fruit / Vegeta-ble Mont
