That is why in the month of December, we will be donating $10 every time someone shares this article on Facebook or Twitter up to $1,500 to the Friendship House Cafe.

Stanwood Grill Giveaway
The Stanwood Grill has generously donated a $150 gift certificate that will be given to one lucky person who LIKES & SHARES this on their Facebook wall and or twitter feed! The Stanwood Grill is a dinner house with a full-service bar, located in the heart of historic downtown Stanwood. Their friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere make for a great dining experience.

About The Golden Wrench Award
Every month CPI chooses an Outstanding Employee to receive a Golden Wrench Award. As a part of the award, they are given the ability to pick a charity that CPI will then donate 1% of all service earnings for the entire month.

In 2015, we donated $32,144.25 to local charities, clubs, associations and organizations.We also helped replace the toilet for Neighbors in Need Food Bank free of charge.

More About The Friendship House
The Friendship House Cafe in Mount Vernon serves approximately 6000 delicious meals a month to anyone who is hungry, free of charge, no strings attached.

Some of the workers in the Cafe’s kitchen are apprentices in the Hunger to Hope program. The innovative 12-week program addresses unemployment and homelessness by training people to have a career in food service at no cost to them. They accomplish this by using true apprenticeship style training. Learn more at LivingInSkagit
