Steve Olsen launched CPI Plumbing & Heating in 1986 as “Commercial Plumbing, Inc.” The first office was on Commercial Avenue in Anacortes. As the North Puget Sound grew, so to did Steve’s company. In 1992, Commercial Plumbing, Inc. moved to the more central location of Mount Vernon to better serve the booming community.

In 2001, Steve Olsen retired and sold Commercial Plumbing, Inc. to three long-time employees; Kelly Schols, Mike Fox, and Michael “Oly” Olsen. In 2002, Brad Tully joined the ownership group. In 2003, they renamed their company CPI Plumbing & Heating to better reflect the diversity of their services.

With over 20 years of serving the North Puget Sound, CPI Plumbing & Heating has worked hard to be recognized as the industry leader in customer service, expertise, and professionalism.
