Stanwood is a small growing community located in Snohomish County. It started in 1866 as a trading post settled by Scandinavian people on the flats at the mouth of the Stillaguamish River.
Rents Due Ranch is a certified USDA organic farm in Stanwood. Mike Shriver sells his produce at the local farmer’s markets from Stanwood all the way down to the markets in Seattle. He started his farm on one-acre in 1980 and grown it to be a viable 50-acre organic farm. Recently there were new regulations that required certain checks to be in place for their washing stations.
